The iPod nano is Apple’s most successful product ever, and combine that with the hugely successful iPhone 3G, the iPhone nano is sure to be one hot product!
Rumors regarding the iPhone nano has been swirling around the blogosphere as far back as I can remember; but recent report from a publication in UK by the name of Daily Mail claims that Apple is about to launch a ‘nano’ version of the iPhone sometime this Christmas.
The publication also said that the iPhone nano would be launched in the UK at up to £150 for pay-as-you-go customers by O2, the mobile phone group owned by Spain’s Telefonica. ‘This will be a big one,’ said an industry source.

‘The iPhone 3G has been the fastest-selling phone ever in the UK, but it is too expensive to be a realistic proposition in the pay-as-you-go market.
‘However, a cut down version, with the candy bar shape of iPod nano music players, would be a huge hit as a Christmas gift.’
One expert suggested the nano phone would have a touch wheel on the back and display on the front so that numbers would be dialed from behind.
So should this rumor be true, there will be a whole new line of cases and accessories for the iPhone nano to pick from; especially with the rumor of the new two-sided design.
iPhone nano car accessories generally include car chargers, iPhone nano holders, and iPhone nano FM Transmitters. Car chargers generally plug into your car’s power adapter port; sometimes car chargers and FM transmitters are combined into one device. FM transmitters broadcast the music from your iPhone nano to your FM radio, they either plugs into the headphone jack or the dock connector, if they are combined with the car charger, and they usually plug into the dock connector. iPhone nano holders are stands that are somehow affixed to your car, usually with a suction cup, and they firmly grip your iPhone nano so you can use it, navigate the menus, use the maps, etc without having to worry about it sliding all over the place.
iPhone nano Charger Accessories
iPhone nano chargers, the name kind of says it all, they charge your iPhone nano’s battery. They come in one of two types, the first is they just have a USB port and plug into the wall and then you use the USB cable that came with your iPhone nano to connect your iPhone nano to the charger. The second is they have a dock connector hardwired into them and then you plug in the charger and connect your iPhone nano directly to it. Either way, it’s simple and performs the basic task of charging your Instinct.
Cables can do many things, mainly associated with how they connect your iPhone nano to another device or port. There are USB cables they would generally have a dock connector on one end and a USB termination on the other. Most of the other cables somehow connect your iPhone nano to either an audio or video device or a combination of the two. These can connect either via dock connector, or more likely, via the headphone jack.
iPhone nano Headphone Accessories
Headphones are the primary method for listening to music from your Instinct, and with an in-line microphone can also be used for phone calls. There are in-ear ear buds, on-ear headphones that just rest on your ear or around-ear headphones that form some sort of suction around your ear.
iPhone nano Cradle Accessories
Cradles can do many things, ranging from charging your iPhone nano and syncing it to your PC all the way to instantly connecting your iPhone nano to your entire home theater system. Your iPhone nano may have came with a cradle that can do most of that, but if you need an extra, say a spare for your office, or on the likely occasion your computer and home theater aren’t in the same room, you can buy an extra cradle.
iPhone nano Bluetooth Accessories
There will be many Bluetooth accessories that work with the iPhone nano for hands-free talking. You’ll be able make calls while walking or just simply to lazy to hold the iPhone 3G for the duration of the call or especially when you’re driving in your car. The latter is a great option if you aren’t a big fan of Bluetooth headsets but want hands-free functionality while you are driving.
